FAMILY SUPPORT

The Justice Translator Family Initiative is a 3 three-month targeted program meeting with over 100 families inside the criminal justice system in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

This program will identify distinct problems, that have developed for victims of gun violence and the relationship with the Bridgeport Police Department.

The goal is to create a curriculum of standard procedures and identify the areas that families need the most help as it relates to criminal investigations, community vs. police relationships, the court system, the probation system, and lastly, the conditions inside Connecticut prisons and the effect it has on the family unit.
