POLICE SUPPORT
The history of violence intervention, and the model of Group Violence Intervention more importantly has been implemented in cities across the United States with the support of police departments.
The Justice Translators police initiative is a 12-month study done with three police departments, in different cities.
Written and created with police chiefs, district attorneys, community organizers, defense attorneys and prison officials, this handbook will be policy suggestions for a new modern version of ‘Community Policing.’
This initiative and handbook will be used inside Justice Translators community outposts.
